Principal's Message

Dear AMFRA Family,

Unfortunately, the Big Yellow School Bus will NOT run tomorrow (Tuesday, September 24) due to illness.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

We have Rock Region Metro passes for cadets whose families want them.  Please fill out this form.  https://tinyurl.com/28bcuxn7. Ms. Bowen will call students to her office to provide the passes.   Cadets should make sure to bring their ID cards.

Tuesday – Green Shirt, Green Shorts, Tennis Shoes

Wedneday – Cammies

Thursday – Green Shirt, Green Shorts, Tennis Shoes

Friday – Civilian Attire

We will have soccer practice and extended soccer tryouts tomorrow, Tuesday September 24 during 4th block.  Cadets may bring soccer cleats for practice if they would like.

The Cadet Progress Conferences will be Tuesday, October 1.  Your cadet’s mentor will be reaching out this week to schedule.  Remember, the cadet and their parents/guardians and any others you would like to invite will only have to come on that day for the conference itself.  The cadet’s will be presenting their Cadet Progress Report to you (and your invitees) and their mentor.  The conferences are scheduled for approximately 20 minutes.  This is a critical event in the educational process at AMFRA.  Please make every effort to come.  However, if you are unable to come during the day, we can schedule virtual conferences online through Google Meet or through Zoom.  Please let your cadet’s mentor know if you need this option.

Please also note that Home Access Center (HAC) information (including log ins) are available in the front office.  If you would like your HAC information, please let Ms. Bowen know.

Mañana, martes 24 de septiembre, durante el cuarto bloque, tendremos prácticas de fútbol y pruebas de fútbol extendidas. Los cadetes pueden traer botines de fútbol para practicar si lo desean.

Las conferencias de progreso de los cadetes se llevarán a cabo el martes 1 de octubre. El mentor de su cadete se comunicará con usted esta semana para programar una cita. Recuerde que el cadete, sus padres/tutores y cualquier otra persona que desee invitar solo tendrán que asistir ese día a la conferencia. Los cadetes le presentarán su Informe de progreso de cadetes a usted (y a sus invitados) y a su mentor. Las conferencias están programadas para durar aproximadamente 20 minutos. Este es un evento fundamental en el proceso educativo de AMFRA. Haga todo lo posible por asistir. Sin embargo, si no puede asistir durante el día, podemos programar conferencias virtuales en línea a través de Google Meet o Zoom. Informe al mentor de su cadete si necesita esta opción.
